Pull out the locking pin and hold the extinguisher with the spray nozzle pointing away from you.

Aim the spray nozzle low at the base of the fire.

Squeeze the lever slowly and evenly to release the extinguishing agent.

Sweep from side-to-side. Start at a distance of six to eight (6-8) feet away and while keeping a safe distance carefully move forward saturating the fire.
